The Velfont anti-mite Nordic crib duvet is made with a silk-touch microfibre exterior fabric and a beautiful embossed design.

The filling of this Nordic duvet is made of high-quality hollow siliconised fibre with Acarsan ® anti-mite treatment. This treatment is scientifically tested and maintains its effectiveness after washing. In addition, this fibre combines excellent thermal properties with a high level of comfort to make this anti-mite Nordic duvet an ideal product for your baby's healthy rest. It is made with striped stitching and exterior edging around the entire perimeter. It is available in a single weight of 250 g/m².

What is the most suitable weight of the Nordic duvet for me?

It is not easy to choose the most suitable weight for my geographical area, but here at mueblesdecasa.net we are going to offer you some suggestions using the geographical area of Spain as a reference example.

• Weight of 250 gr/m2 . Suitable for spring/autumn in the north and centre, as well as for winters in the south of the Mediterranean coast, i.e. for rooms with temperatures between 18 ºC and 22 ºC, with the optimum being 20 ºC.
• Weight of 400 gr/m2 . This is a Nordic duvet for cold winters such as those in the north and centre of Spain, suitable for short winter periods on the eastern Mediterranean coast when the cold is more intense, but in any case, ideal for rooms with temperatures below 19 ºC.
• Duo (125+250 gr/m2) . This is a 4-season Nordic duvet suitable for the whole year, but be careful! It is not suitable for the whole year in Spain. On the Mediterranean coast, where summer nights are usually hot, it is not necessary to use any type of duvet, no matter how light it is. Washing instructions for the Velfont Anti-mite Nordic crib duvet

It can be washed in any type of domestic washing machine, as long as it is washed at a maximum temperature of 40º C in short cycles, bleach can be used. It can be machine dried but on a gentle programme, it cannot be ironed and it can be washed in perchloroethylene without restrictions.
