COTTON SATIN. Sateen is a fabric with a characteristic lustre due to its loom weave. A taffeta weave (the most common when it is not indicated whether it is percale or satin) alternates one weft thread for one warp thread (horizontal and vertical), while satin alternates four threads to one, which results in superior softness, absence of noise and shine.
