Features of the Magister Ivory pocket spring mattress

• Core. Made up of independent casings of Schmalfedern pocketed micro-springs , placed on a double 1,200-gram jute base, which offers the Marfil mattress perfect support, preventing the core from deforming. The Marfil model from Magister has perimeter reinforcement in each spring casing, which gives it greater resistance and more individualised beds.

• Reception padding. The new Magister Marfil for this year is a mattress with AirSoft ® padding , made from a combination of materials such as high resilience foam (HR) and natural cotton, which provides a progressive fit to the body, freeing it from pressure points, and thus helping people with cervical problems, back problems, varicose veins or circulatory problems.

• Exclusive SingleDuo Select technology. A system with two personalised rest zones and the option to select between comfort and firmness levels.

• Fabric composition: 100% viscose/cotton.

• Upholstery. Top-quality quilted satin fabric, very tear-resistant and very soft to the touch.

• Breathability. Its micro-pocket spring core, together with its four vents, two on each side of the mattress, guarantee air circulation inside the mattress, and thus the maximum possible hygiene by preventing the accumulation of moisture inside the mattress.

• Fire resistant TNT felt layer .

• Height. 30 cm (+/-1 cm).

What are the advantages of the micro-pocketed spring system core?

A mattress with micro-pocket springs is cool, silent, hypoallergenic, adaptable, does not transmit movements and is 100% ergonomic and suitable for back or circulation problems. The reasons for each of these advantages are described below.

• High adaptability and ergonomics. The system of individual and pocketed micro-springs makes mattresses like the Magister Marfil mattress extremely comfortable, since each spring adjusts to the weight of each part of the body independently, since each micro-spring does not press on the next closest one, freeing the areas of the body with the most load, such as the waist and shoulders, from excess pressure, thus avoiding excess hardness or the body sinking. This system also allows you to sleep in any position, always maintaining the correct alignment of the spine, thus promoting blood circulation as there are no entrapments, which is why the Magister Marfil mattress is a recommended mattress for people with back, circulatory or neck problems.

• NO transmission of movements. Pocket springs are the only ones capable of guaranteeing that no movement is transferred from one person to another while they are resting, but as the Marfil mattress is not just any model, in this case the springs are even smaller than conventional ones, with this model having approximately 1300 springs for a 150x190 cm size, so the distribution of weight and vibrations is absolute. With this system, the person next to you can get up or move freely during the night and you won't notice anything at all, so your sleep will be continuous and restful.

• Cool and quiet. The coolness of the springs is indisputable and has been proven throughout their history, as they allow air to circulate between each one, not generating heat pockets, thus avoiding the accumulation of humidity inside, and with it bad smells.

These are two single-size mattresses , which when joined together with a special zipper (only available in twin mattresses), aesthetically simulate a single mattress, with the advantage that here each bed is 100% independent from the other. This zipper joins both mattresses to improve comfort and prevent the mattresses from shifting or moving.
