Klinun 90% goose down duvet technologies

	European white goose down and small feathers offer a very high quality. European goose down comes exclusively from mature animals with large feathers, thus ensuring a high degree of Fill Power. This material provides the warmth and insulation necessary for optimal thermoregulation without causing sweating at night. Its Fill Power (650 in this case) ensures a high level of volume with less weight, as well as an excellent ability to recover its original shape after being folded, crushed or wrinkled.
	100% cotton batiste outer fabric with 280 threads. This is a top quality fabric with a firm warp and a slightly satiny surface. It is a very light fabric, somewhat transparent and with an extra-soft surface, in this case with a 280 thread weave that gives the duvet maximum strength and softness.
	Down Proof® Treatment . Treatment applied to the fabric of duvets with natural virgin feathers and down like this one, whose main function is to prevent the feather and down from passing through the fabric and coming into contact with the user's skin.
	Washing and drying. The Klinun 90% natural down duvet is suitable for washing in any type of domestic washing machine, as long as it is washed at a maximum temperature of 30º C in short cycles and with a very gentle spin, do not iron, do not bleach and can be dried at a maximum of 60⁰ C.

Cassette system or boxes for filling with down and feathers

Box system or C assetten. This system of introducing the filling inside the duvet guarantees high homogeneity. Using squares of the same size, the filling reaches even to the edge of the seams, thus leaving no gaps. Filling in boxes requires the filling to be introduced square by square, with a precision of +/- 0.1 gr, thus achieving a perfect distribution of weight and volume on the inner surface of the duvet.

What is Fill Power?

Fill Power is a method that helps us compare the recovery capacity, fluffiness, insulation and air-capturing capacity of a natural down product.

The higher the Fill Power number, the larger the down flake and therefore the more space it takes up inside the product, making it fluffier but lighter in weight.

What is the most suitable weight for me?

This 90% European white goose down Nordic duvet, unlike other mid- or low-range duvets, has a very high thermoregulatory capacity , that is, it adapts to our body temperature without making us sweat, offering us a wide range of temperatures for use, but even with these advantages that we find in a duvet like this model, it is necessary to choose the perfect weight, depending on the average temperature of our geographical area , in this way we will obtain the maximum benefits from our natural Nordic duvet.

• Weight: 120 gr/m2. Nordic for spring/autumn, suitable when the room temperature is between 17 and 23 ºC.
• Weight: 160 gr/m2. Ideal Nordic for mild or very cold winters but in somewhat heated houses, suitable when the room temperature is between 14 and 20 ºC.
• Weight: 220 gr/m2. Nordic quilt suitable for cold winters in unheated houses, suitable when the room temperature is between 7 and 13 ºC.

Maintenance and washing of natural duvets

Natural Nordic duvets have unique finishes and treatments, which guarantee their proper preservation. In any case, it is advisable to carry out proper maintenance of them. Some recommendations are:

1. Air duvets frequently so that the feathers can spread around the duvet and not become clumpy.
2. Wash your duvet every two or three years . Do not use bleach or whitener, only mild detergents. Maximum temperature 30 degrees. Use a high-capacity machine. Do not mix with any other garment or bedding.
3. Air dry . It is best to dry your duvet outdoors, out of direct sunlight. Once dry, you can tap it to fluff it up.
4. Store in its case, in a cool, dry place . If you do not have the original cover, you can buy one specifically for natural duvets.

Note: It is not recommended to use a vacuum cleaner on the duvet as this may cause the duvet filling to come out.
