INNER FILLING. 98% LUXURY white goose duvet and 2% small white goose feathers. The LUXURY goose down and the small feather provide the warmth and insulation necessary for optimal thermoregulation without causing sweating during the night. This filling also ensures a high level of voluminousness with low weight, as well as an excellent ability to return to its original shape after being folded, flattened or crumpled.

FILLING WEIGHT. 220 gr/m2 is ideal as a winter duvet for unheated rooms, equivalent to a 400 gr/m2 synthetic duvet, and 120 gr/m2 is designed as a duvet for mild winters or in-between seasons, equivalent to a 250 gr/m2 synthetic duvet. In addition, it allows air to circulate inside, thus achieving optimum thermoregulation, which prevents us from sweating during sleep and improves our rest.

FABRIC. 100% cotton sateen. This is a high quality fabric, in which four threads are interwoven lengthwise and crosswise, giving it that elegant sheen, as well as a natural feel with a regular and soft structure. This type of finish makes the fabric easier to iron as it creases less, is even more breathable and at the same time provides better moisture transfer.

THREAD COUNT. Fabrics with more than 200 threads per inch are more voluminous, softer and more durable than those with less than 200 threads. In this case, the Mash 98% Down LUXURY duvet offers maximum softness, resistance and adaptability. This fabric is made in Kassetten, that is to say, checkered with interior partitions, it allows an adequate distribution of the filling inside, avoiding displacements and cold zones that can be produced by the seams.

FILLIN POWER (CUIN). Duvet duvet that offers a Filling Power of 650 cuin, a HIGH LEVEL of graduation on the scale of measurement of the weight/volume ratio. The Cuin or filling power measures the comfort, insulating capacity, lightness, recovery and fluffiness of the down filling. In MASH duvets, the filling power scale includes values between 400 and 800 CUIN (unit of measurement). The higher the Filling Power, the higher the duvet and its filaments will be. The higher the duvet quality, the lower the weight per m2.

KASSETTEN (BOX SYSTEM). This is undoubtedly the best and most efficient way of distributing the feather filling. By means of identically sized squares, the down can reach the edge of the seams, as this system forces the duvet to be filled square by square, with a precision of +/- 0.1 gr, thus achieving a perfect distribution of weight and volume throughout the duvet filling.

THERMAL LEVEL 2 and 4 (Scale from 1 to 4). The model LUXURY 98% with 120 has a thermal level 2 and the LUX 98% with a level of 4, so the 220 gr/m2 is recommended as a winter duvet for rooms between 10ºC and 16ºC, and the LUX 120 gr/m2 as a duvet for mild winters and rooms between 14ºC and 22ºC. Mash natural duvet fillings need a much lower grammage than synthetic duvets, as well as being much lighter in weight than fibre fillings.

SAFETY OF USE. The down and feathers used in Mash duvets are subjected to long sterilisation and sanitisation processes, thus guaranteeing optimum sanitary conditions for their use. They are subjected to several washes between 110ºC and 125ºC with specific detergents for this purpose and are dried using steam pressure at temperatures of over 130ºC; this process results in a 100% safe product. This process guarantees the total absence of allergens. It is, therefore, a 100% suitable duvet for use by children and adults.
