Velfont Ordino Nordic Duvet 90% Down

INTERIOR FILLING. 90% virgin duvet and 10% small feathers . The down and feather Small in size, they provide the warmth and insulation necessary for optimal thermoregulation without causing sweating at night. This filling also ensures a high level of volume with low weight, as well as an excellent capacity to recover its original shape after being folded, crushed or wrinkled.

FILLING WEIGHT. The filling weight is 270 gr/m2, ideal as a winter duvet , equivalent to a 400 gr/m2 synthetic duvet. In addition, it allows air to circulate inside, achieving optimal thermoregulation, which means that we do not sweat during sleep and improve our rest.

FABRIC. 100% natural cotton. This is a high-quality fabric, in which a thread is crossed across the width and a thread along the length and so on, throughout the process of weaving the fabric, which gives it a matte final appearance, as well as a natural feel with a regular and soft structure.

THREAD COUNT . Fabrics with more than 200 threads per inch are more voluminous, softer and more durable than those with less than 200 threads. In this case, the Velfont 90% Down duvet offers maximum softness, strength and adaptability. This fabric is made in Kassetten , that is, in squares with interior partitions, allowing for proper distribution of the filling inside, avoiding shifting and cold areas that can occur due to the seams.

DOWN PROOF TREATMENT . Down Proof Treatment applied to the fabric of duvets with natural feathers and down like this one from Velfont, whose main function is to prevent the feather and down from passing through the fabric and coming into contact with the user's skin.

KASSETTEN (BOX SYSTEM). It is, without a doubt, the best and most efficient way of distributing the down filling. Using squares of identical size, the down reaches even the edges of the seams, since this system forces the duvet to be filled square by square, with a precision of +/- 0.1 gr, thus achieving a perfect distribution of weight and volume throughout the duvet filling.  

THERMAL LEVEL 4 (Scale from 1 to 4). Natural duvet fillings, such as the 90% down model from Velfont, require a much lower weight than synthetic duvets, as well as being much lighter than fibre fillings. The 90% virgin down duvet is suitable for use in rooms with temperatures between 15º C and 19º C. The ideal temperature for use is 17ºC.

SAFETY OF USE. The down and feathers used in Velfont duvets are subjected to scrupulous sterilisation and hygiene processes, thus guaranteeing optimal sanitary conditions for their use. They are subjected to several washes at more than 110ºC with specific detergents for this purpose and dried using pressurised steam at temperatures above 130ºC; this process produces a 100% safe product. This process guarantees the total absence of allergens . It is, therefore, a duvet 100% suitable for use by children and adults.
