The Duna Allerban duvet by Mash is undoubtedly one of the highest performance fibre duvets on the market. This model, with a 100% filling in special hollow siliconised Quallofil Allerban fibre in Dacron and woven in cotton and TopCool, offers maximum comfort, great softness and total security against pathogenic agents for health. .

INTERIOR FILLING. 100% siliconised hollow fibre Quallofil® Premium ALLERBAN® by Dacron® anti-dust mite, anti-bacteria, anti-fungus. This fibre provides high elasticity, high resilience, high thermal capacity and great longevity. This fibre is made up of fine polyester strands, hollow on the inside and siliconised on the outside allowing, thanks to the micro-air channels formed inside each fibre, to avoid the accumulation of humidity inside, bad odours, it acquires a high thermal capacity and also offers excellent anti-allergic properties. On the other hand, thanks to the siliconisation of the external layer of each fibre, it improves the feel, improves resistance to tearing and recovery.

GRAMMINGS. This duvet has grammages available in 300, 200, 100 and Duo (200+100) gr/m2 filling weight. A wide range from which you can choose the one that suits you best, depending on the climate of your place of residence. FABRIC. 50% natural cotton and 50% technical sports fabric Topcool®, made in linear quilting.. This duvet has the most hygienic and comfortable combination on the market. BREATHABILITY. This duvet, thanks to the hollow channel fibres that offer a large volume by allowing space between each fibre, allows air to circulate inside without interfering with its thermal capacity, as it does not drag the air contained inside the micro-channels. This, in turn, avoids the accumulation of humidity in the interior and, therefore, does not allow the presence of mites derived from it.

THERMAL LEVEL 1,2,3 and 3 (Scale 1 to 4). The Mash Duna Allerban model has thermal level 1 for its 100 gr version, Level 2 for the 200 gr model, Level 3 for the 300 gr version, as well as level 3 also for the DUO 200 + 100 gr/m2 version. Thermal Level 1, ideal for rooms between 21 ºC and 25 ºC, Thermal Level 2, ideal for rooms between 19 ºC and 23 ºC and Thermal Level 3, ideal for rooms between 16 ºC and 21 ºC.

SAFETY OF USE. The Duna Allerban duvet features Quallofil® Allerban® hollow fibre by Dacron®. ANTI-CHAARSThis system allows the correct aeration of the filling and fabric, avoiding the accumulation of humidity which, in turn, does not allow the proliferation of mites or fungi, thus achieving a totally anti-allergenic product, suitable even for people with allergies and/or respiratory problems.

What are dust mites and how do they affect our health?

WHAT ARE THEY? Mites are micro-organisms, less than half a millimetre in size, that live in dusty, warm and humid environments. Among their favourite places are normally not very breathable elements, such as cushions, duvets, cuddly toys and mattresses, all of which are areas where humans tend to rub against each other, as these little bugs feed on microscopic flakes of our skin.

HOW DO THEY AFFECT US? The mite particles and their faecal remains remain inside fabrics with low perspiration, as well as in the air of closed spaces. When inhaled, they can cause everything from asthma or rhinitis to conjunctivitis, as well as atopic skin.

How do I choose the right Duna Allerban duvet weight for me?

The most suitable duvet for me should have a specific weight depending on the climate where I live. Taking into account the geographical area of Spain as a reference, we give you some references:

• Grammage of 100 gr/m2. Nordic for northern summers or spring/autumn from the southern Mediterranean coast to Valencia, that is to say, suitable when the temperature of the room is between 21º and 25º C, the optimum being 23º C.
• Grammage 200 gr/m2. Suitable for spring/autumn in the north and centre as well as for winters in the south of the Mediterranean coast, i.e. for rooms with temperatures between 19º and 23º C, the optimum being 21º C.
• Grammage of 300 gr/m2. Almost like the previous one, this duvet is suitable for spring/autumn in the north and centre, or for winters in the south of the Mediterranean coast, although as it is somewhat warmer it is recommended for cold winters like those in the north, but in heated houses, that is, for rooms with temperatures between 16º and 21º C, the optimum temperature being 19º C.
• Duo (100+200 gr/m2). Duvet 4 Seasons suitable for all year round although, as it does not exceed 300 gr/m2, it is recommended for winters in northern/central Spain with heated rooms, with an average room temperature of 19ºC, as well as for winters in other areas of Spain. Maintenance and care of a Mash duvet duvet cover

Washing, drying and conservation. The Duna Allerban duvet filler is suitable for washing in any type of domestic washing machine, as long as it is washed at a maximum temperature of 40 ºC in short cycles and with very gentle spin, do not iron, do not bleach and allows drying at a maximum temperature of 40 ⁰C.
