Features of the Estelia Microfiber Nordic Duvet
The Nordic fibre filling , being made with a combination of comfortable, breathable materials, with a high thermoregulatory capacity, 100% hygienic, is suitable for use in children, adults as well as people with allergy problems and/or respiratory problems.
INTERIOR FILLING. 100% polyester hollow fiber with a feathery feel. This type of fiber is It is fluffy, voluminous and light, as well as extra soft to the touch, similar to feathers. It offers great elasticity, high recovery capacity, high thermal capacity and a long service life. It is made of fine polyester threads, hollow inside and silicone-coated on the outside, which, thanks to the micro-air channels formed inside each fibre, prevents the accumulation of humidity inside and bad odours. It has a high thermal capacity and also offers us, thanks to its high breathability, excellent anti-allergy properties.
WEIGHTS. This duvet is available in weights of 350, 250 and 125 gr/m2 of filling weight. A wide range of models from which you can choose the one that best suits you, depending on the climate of your place of residence. You should take into account the average temperature of your room before choosing a specific weight for the duvet. Below we detail the recommended use for each weight.
FABRIC. 100% petal-touch microfibre. Made with a perimeter trim, it has a petal touch that makes it extra soft and very pleasant, providing breathability and softness in contact with the skin. This fabric is strong and durable, absorbs up to 7 times its weight and is capable of trapping dirt, including bacteria and germs.
BREATHABILITY. Thanks to the hollow channel fibres, this duvet manages to maintain a high and constant volume, as these hollow fibres have the ability to constantly separate from each other and not clump together, thus providing a space between them through which air can circulate, without dragging the heat trapped in the hollow channel of each filament.
THERMAL LEVEL 1,2,3 and 4 (Scale from 1 to 4). This Estelia Nordic filling has thermal level 1 for its 125 gr version, Level 2 for the 250 gr model, Level 4 for the 350 gr version. Thermal Level 1, ideal for rooms between 20º and 24º C, Thermal Level 2, ideal for rooms between 18º and 22º C and Thermal Level 4, ideal for rooms between 12º and 20º C.
SAFETY OF USE. The 100% breathable duvet has systems that allow the correct ventilation of the filling and fabric, avoiding the accumulation of humidity, which in turn does not allow the proliferation of mites or fungi, thus achieving a totally anti-allergic product suitable even for people with allergies and/or respiratory problems .
What is the most suitable weight for me?
It is not easy to choose the most suitable weight for my geographical area, but here at MueblesdeCasa.Net we are going to offer you some suggestions using the geographical area of Spain as a reference example.
- Weight: 125 gr/m2 . This is a Nordic quilt for northern summers or spring/autumn on the southern Mediterranean coast up to Valencia, that is, suitable when the room temperature is between 20º and 24º C, with the optimum being 22º C.
- Weight of 250 gr/m2 . Suitable for spring/autumn in the north and centre, as well as for winters in the south of the Mediterranean coast, i.e. for rooms with temperatures between 18º and 22º C, with the optimum being 20º C.
- Weight of 350 gr/m2 . This is a Nordic duvet for cold winters such as those in the north and centre of Spain, suitable for short winter periods on the eastern Mediterranean coast when the cold is more intense, but in any case, ideal for rooms with temperatures below 19º C.

Nordic fiber maintenance and preservation
Washing, drying and preservation. The duvet is suitable for washing in any type of domestic washing machine, as long as it is washed at a maximum temperature of 40º C in short cycles and with a very gentle spin cycle, do not iron, do not bleach and can be dried at a maximum of 60⁰ C.
How to store the duvet? Both from mueblesdecasa.net and from EsTelia, we recommend using the bag or case from which they are taken out for the first time, or failing that, buying breathable cotton bags specially prepared for the purpose.
