Features of the Velfont waterproof fitted sheet

This waterproof pillowcase is designed for pillows and is suitable for both memory foam, fiber and latex pillows, as they allow proper breathability from the inside out, while preventing the penetration of liquids from the outside. Made from 100% organic natural cotton of 118 gr/m2 with GOTS certified thread, which makes this a highly comfortable, soft, wear-resistant, 100% breathable and environmentally friendly sheet.

Technologies of the 100% cotton waterproof fitted sheet

	Velfont combed organic natural cotton offers softness, breathability, strength and thermo-regulating capacity far superior to that of synthetic fibres, and even compared to lower quality cottons. It has GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified thread that guarantees the organic state of the textile material from the time it is harvested to its socially and environmentally responsible production, so the GOTS label is equivalent to 100% organic and 100% environmentally friendly.
	Combing. The cotton combing process takes place after carding . Here, the fabric resulting from the carding process has the short and medium fibres that may have remained after carding removed, leaving only the longest cotton fibres. Subsequently, by stretching and twisting the fibres, they are arranged in parallel. This complex process results in softer, more voluminous fabrics, increases the natural shine of these and their resistance becomes much higher than that of non-combed fabrics.
	Anti-mite. This is a protector/sheet recommended for people with allergies, or those who are simply looking for maximum protection during their rest, as it offers a physical barrier against mites, as they cannot penetrate the Neotherm® membrane.
	Breathability. 100% cotton fabrics, such as those used in breathable sheets, have a high breathability capacity, and are able to prevent the accumulation of moisture inside them, as well as allergens and bad odours derived from it.
	Washing and drying. They are suitable for washing in any type of washing machine, as long as they are washed at a maximum temperature of 90º C for white sheets and 40º C for coloured sheets , with short cycle washing, gentle spin, do not iron, do not bleach, can be tumble dried at a gentle temperature and are not dry cleanable.

Washing rules

This cover can be machine washed at a maximum temperature of 40 ºC, without bleach, can be tumble dried at a low temperature, or outdoors without direct contact with the sun, can be dry cleaned with perchloroethylene, and ironed up to 200 ºC.
